How the income figures work
Your rent can't be more than 35% of your household's income after tax. So the lowest income for a home is its yearly rent divided by 0.35. Your income also has to be under the limit: €66,000 a year in Dublin, and €59,000 elsewhere. Income limits, explained with real rents.
